Getting the best print
Sending us your logo
The single biggest thing that decides how sharp your print looks is the file you send us. Here's what works best — send the highest one on this list you can get hold of.
A vector file
.ai · .eps · .pdf · .svg
The gold standard. Vector art is made of shapes, not pixels, so it prints razor-sharp at any size and has no background to tidy up. If a designer made your logo, they'll have one of these — just ask them for the “vector” or “print-ready” file.
A high-resolution PNG with a transparent background

No background to remove, and if it's large (ideally 2000 pixels or more on the longest side) it prints beautifully. This is the easiest raster file for us to work with.
A high-resolution image on a plain background
.png · .jpg on solid white/black
We can lift the logo off a solid background automatically. How crisp the final print is comes down to the resolution — bigger is better.
A screenshot, a small image, or an AI-generated picture

These are flattened pictures with no original artwork behind them, often quite small. We can sometimes clean them up, but if the result won't print sharply we'll need to redraw your logo before printing. We'll always tell you first if that's the case.
A note on AI-made logos
More and more logos are made with tools like ChatGPT. They can look great on screen, but they come out as a small, flattened picture with no editable original behind them — so there's nothing to scale up cleanly. If that's all you have, send it anyway: we'll tell you honestly whether it'll print well as-is, or whether we'd recommend redrawing it first so it's crisp and yours to keep.
